Basic wadding – Clo-Star™

Clo-Star™ wadding is suitable for a wide range of uses. It is high-quality basic wadding developed during our more than a decade long partnership with Wellmann International, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of materials made of man-made fibres.

Thermal-bonded Clo-Star™ wadding is suitable for outerwear, working clothes and leisurewear, gloves and furniture. Its special structure makes the wadding pliable and soft while remaining purposefully smooth and thick, making it nice to use and easy to process during production.

Clo-Star™ wadding can be used in quilted and laminated form with lining as well as in products where wadding is only attached at the seams.

Microfibre specialised wadding – Thinsulate™

Thinsulate™ is an internationally recognised brand which offers a range of wadding products with 3M insulation. The brand includes a number of specialised wadding types for sportswear, leisurewear and working clothes and footwear.

What makes wadding particularly comfortable is the fact that it allows air to circulate while keeping the body warm. All Thinsulate products have been approved by Öko-Tex and meet the requirements of standard ISO 9002. Thinsulate products automatically let you share in the added value provided by an international brand.

Flame retardant specialised wadding – SAFE™

Flame retardant SAFE™ wadding passes the fire protection test for class SL1 products. Available in the same weight categories as Clo-Star wadding.

Thermal-bonded SAFE™ wadding is an excellent choice for outerwear, working clothes and leisurewear, gloves and furniture. According to EVS (SFS) standards, SAFE™ wadding belongs to fire safety class SL 1 C (difficult to ignite) for apparel fabrics.
